Our amazing board members volunteers are committed to helping support the 50 homes in our subdivision.
Talcott Glen is a community of 50 single-family homes, each on a lot of approximately ¾ of an acre, ideally located off of Crystal Lake Avenue, west of Terra Cotta Road, and east of Erick Street. It is within the Crystal Lake city limits and is about 1.3 miles from downtown Crystal Lake. Two Metra commuter rail stations, one located downtown, and one at Pingree and Congress Parkway (both about a mile away), are easily accessible. The first homes in Talcott Glen were built in 1993, and the last in 2001. It is essentially a wooded cul de sac. Although Primrose Lane connects Talcott Glen with the neighboring community of Asbury Park, there is almost no through traffic. Talcott Glen is within the boundaries of Elementary School District 47 and High School District 155. Children attend Hussman Elementary, Hannah Beardsley Middle School (right across Crystal Lake Avenue), and Crystal Lake Central High School.
